Help With Losing Weight

Weight loss is a commitment to making healthy decisions and choices, but not easy in our hectic lifestyles. It is possible to make these changes and to enjoy them, but often we need a bit of help and guidance along the way.

As a weight loss consultant and personal trainer, I believe we have to make changes to our eating habits and the way we eat if we want to lose weight and keep it off. This can be daunting for many people, especially if you're reluctant to change!

Lose Weight Without Controlled Dieting

You can lose weight without dieting. This is where my healthy eating plans can be more successful. There's no faddy diet, no restricting calories or weighing everything you eat. You can still include some of your treats but the main basis of your food is fresh, unprocessed, unrefined and low GI foods.

Custom Weight Loss Programs

Health conditions such as diabetes and polycystic ovary syndrome have been shown to respond well to low GI diets. Therefore custom weight loss programs are helpful if you want successful weight loss.

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a health problem that can affect a woman's hormone levels, periods, and ovulation. This can affect fertility and pregnancy but can also play a major part in difficulty in losing weight.  By choosing suitable foods, my diets can help with weight loss if you have this condition. 

Diabetes is another condition that has been shown to respond well to a low GI type of diet. It can help to even out blood glucose levels as it looks at foods in isolation as opposed to a whole meal.  My diet plans can help diabetics have more control over their eating and they contain plenty of slow release carbohydrates which are more beneficial, but also other vital foods to give balanced meals.

I have worked with clients with polycystic ovary syndrome and diabetes and seen good results. Hormone balance plays a major part in weight loss and I can spend time showing you how to eat in order to keep hormones balanced. I also work with vegetarians to provide a healthy diet with plenty of essential protein-rich recipes.

Weekly Diet Plans

I act as your support system by providing weekly diet plans that will fit in with busy family and work life, realistic recipes and ideas for snacks and moments of temptation! I have many ideas for healthy but also tasty treats for those times when you crave something sweet. It's important we have those options as it's so easy to give up when we feel deprived.

Weekly Weigh-Ins

I do weekly weigh-ins and body composition analysis with you. We will create food diaries, recipes and advice on increasing exercise. You will have access to online weight tracking software and app that enables you to enter your goals, weigh ins and photos so you can stay on track.

Many diets can set you up for failure. My goal is to make the process of changing your eating habits easier and therefore making it more achievable.

I'll make realistic goals for you and also look at other things that inhibit weight loss such as sleep patterns and stress.
